Dwayne Ferguson, RFT
Dwayne Ferguson is a Registered Forest Technologist with the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals (ABCFP). He has over 20 years of professional experience developing and implementing operational plans, completing cutting and road permit submissions, and liaising with both private sector and government resource professionals. He also has extensive field experience in road layout and cut block design, as well as supervising forest engineering crews. He has managed projects of various scopes for licensees and land holders on the South and West Coast of Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland, and the Southern Interior of BC. He has also worked internationally, having spent eight months implementing a Forest Development Plan for a land holder in the province of Cordoba, Argentina. Dwayne enjoys the challenges of working in the forest industry, especially working with clients to ensure that their needs are met, while forging lasting relationships. He also looks forward to providing clients and associates with a quality product and professional service.
Andrew Sawden, RPF
Andrew is a graduate of the UBC Forest Resource Management program and registered as Professional Forester with the ABCFP. He has worked in northern BC, the mid coast, and on Vancouver Island in both timber development and silviculture disciplines. Andrew’s roles include timber reconnaissance and evaluation, block and road layout, crew supervision, and Lidar Analysis GIS mapping. He is also the health and safety officer at Copper Canyon and has successfully assembled multiple safety audits for the BC Forest Safety Council. Andrew constantly strives to complete projects efficiently, effectively, and safely.
